Your plan now follows what you actually lift

5 October 2026 Web and iPhone

Lift more than planned and your plan now starts from what you did, not from the old number. Plus smarter in-workout adjustments, weights for carries, a new full-body split and a way to send us feedback.

The plan adopts the weight you actually lifted

When you lift a different weight than the plan asked for, Liftspan now carries the weight you actually lifted into your plan, for that move wherever it appears. Deload weeks and check-in days are skipped, so a deliberately light day does not reset your numbers. Rate a lift Easy and the next step up is the next weight you can actually load.

Easy, Right and Hard follow the set you just did

The effort rating under each set now adjusts the rest of the exercise from what you actually did on that set. If you got fewer reps than asked and tap Right, the next sets come down to match. Tap Hard and the next ask never goes up.

Carries take a weight

Farmer's walks and other loaded carries now have a working weight everywhere: new plans, swaps, your own programs and room changes. The weight box is open on these moves, so you can set what you are actually carrying.

A real full-body split for new plans

When you train Full body, new plans now spread the work as Full body A and B (2 days) or A, B and C (3 days), each day with a squat or hinge, a press and a pull. 4 and 5 days mix upper, lower and full-body days. Existing plans keep their shape until you change your days per week or tap Rebuild my week.

Send feedback or report a problem

There is a new "Send feedback or report a problem" button on the You tab and in Settings. You can attach a screenshot if you like. If a screen fails to load or an import goes wrong, a "Tell us what happened" link takes you straight there.
